In addition to our own in house testing, Caldwell also conform to various British Standards which ensure that we regulate our processes, equipment and working environment to specified levels.
All of our products are manufactured according to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 standards – a set of management system standards which mean that we are obliged to conform to product regulations and procedures. These standards are set by British, European and worldwide standard issues, meaning Caldwell conform to all criteria set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
The Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) is a body which combines the three leading aluminium trade associations, the Architectural Aluminium Association, the Aluminium Window Association and the Patent Glazing Contractors Association. As members of the CAB, Caldwell ensure that we remain at the forefront of aluminium building practices, implementing this expertise into our manufacturing and design processes, as well using this knowledge to best advise clients on product specifics.
As CAB members, Caldwell also drive for the professional and accurate representation of the aluminium marketplace within the government, associated trade organisations and any other concerned bodies.
In addition Caldwell’s CAB membership, we also belong to the GGF, the Glass and Glazing Federation. The GGF is the leading body within the UK supporting the development of the glazing industry.
